We engage directly with workers in India’s most significant export sectors: garment, leather, and electronics industries, coffee and tea plantations. We educate them about rights, help them come together, and guide them in grievance redressal.
Cividep India is committed to workers’ rights and corporate accountability. We partner with workers, collectives and other stakeholders to undertake in-depth research, awareness creation and stakeholder engagement. Our focus is on low wage workers in export-oriented sectors. Through our work we aim to safeguard workers’ rights and change the way corporates work in global supply chains.

We hold corporations responsible for their business decisions through research into working conditions, convene multi-stakeholder forums to promote fair workplaces and advocate policy change. The aim is to ensure responsible business conduct towards workers & the environment.
